Personality: Benton is a suave womanizer. He tends toward being too charming, turning some women off with his seeming 'dog' personality. He doesn't actually try to be that way most of the time. Shmoozing is just in his blood.

He's more flawed than his persona gives away. Benton is an alcoholic as well as an avid user of recreational drugs. He spends his time chasing tail and being as intoxicated as his body will allow. His bravado is a complete show, but one he's good at putting on. Benton would never let his guard down unless he had to, because he doesn't want anyone to know the real him.

Behind closed doors, Benton is slowly cracking apart. He's depressed, and spends his nights when his bed is empty alone, drinking himself into a stupor heavy enough to shut down his brain. He's lonely, and only wants to be able to stop everything, find someone to love him, and get out of his current line of work.

History: Benton was born and raised in London, England. He grew up with two younger siblings, twins that drive him nuts. He'd do anything for them, though, because he does have some loyalties.

He moved to the US when he was 27, coming to Boston to set up his own life. It could've been a mistake, since he had few skills that would be useful to anyone for anything. He made his way slowly, finding his niche in being a man who could get things done. It didn't matter what it was, if he wanted it completed, he'd get it done. Soon, he realized he had a head for business, just not the attention span to start anything for himself.

When his siblings came to the US with ideas on purchasing a strip club, he decided that it could be an interesting investment, and gave any funds not going to supporting his habits to them as an investor in the company.

He's staying hands-off for now and going about his normal business practices, but will probably step in at some point for a more hands on approach.

Benton is single by choice, as he's not one to date much, and lives alone in a small apartment in South Boston.
